They seem to paint the company as a place where it’s fun to work and everyone is happy and work together to make things work. They put me in a situation where they knew that I was new yet I had to keep asking what I needed to do, how to do it properly, where to put things or labels, etc and honestly was a waste of time. Everyone’s kind of on their own, no direction, no leadership, no teamwork. This isn’t a friendly or inviting work environment. The higher-ups sit in their offices all day and kick back with their feet up in their chairs while everyone downstairs works to the bone. Also no one was washing their hands or changing their gloves or having proper PPE. I was constantly having to run around and try to find managers to ask what my next task was or having to wait because they’re on their smoke breaks every 15 minutes. It seems like they have highly unprofessional managers and higher ups, and an unsafe work environment. Ever after I asked why I was being let go I was not given any reason, just handed my small first and final check. I was fired via email which in my opinion is very unprofessional. Was promised minimum 3 months of work and ended up getting let go after only working 2 days. Was hired after interviewing for a second time as a temp warehouse associate. We do offer commission incentives for achieving sales goals, but understand that these targets can be challenging at times. However, we do not condone pressuring customers to spend beyond their means, and our employees are trained to provide helpful and respectful customer service. Regarding sales goals and customer interactions, we have specific targets to meet in order to ensure the financial health of our store. We regret if this was not adequately provided to you and will work to improve our training processes moving forward. We strive to provide thorough training to all of our employees, including proper procedures for opening and closing the store.
